The financial times pointed out that China Telecom intends to introduce Palm Pre to fight against the introduction of the iPhone in China Unicom.
China Telecom's CDMA network happens to support/EV-DO Palm Pre, and in order to operate with China Unicom WCDMA network of competition, China Telecom will definitely be using this killer Palm Pre to attract more customers to use its operations of CDMA/EV-DO network. It is said, China Telecom and Palm is a series of cooperation talks, may soon have the official news release, let's wait and see.
